Warbands is a unique turn based strategy game for your Windows Pc. Despite its intuitive and easy to learn game system, warbands entails an enormous strategic depth that will keep you entertained for ages. The beautiful graphics and the numerous single player story create a fun experience unlike any you have ever witnessed in a strategy game.
The following review written by one of the Software Informer contributors applies to version 1.0
Warbands: Rise of Baron Muntu is a turn-based strategy game created by Stimulus Response Games. The game was created with the Torque Game Builder. The basic story states that Wardonia was a place of great beauty; however, everything changed when Baron Muntu with his army took control over it. This caused the spawning of several rebel groups in Wardonia to fend off Muntu.
When playing Warbands you will be in charge of one of this liberation groups. The single player campaign contains more than 25 missions and it also supports a 4-player mode. Warband contains several humorous elements, starting from the cartoonish look of the characters to the modes of combat and the storyline. Although the graphics is not very good and the gameplay is similar to other turn-based games, this game is still made to provide fun. The best thing in the multi-player turn-based games is that they can be played in a quicker way than with single player. Warbands may not be a game for everyone, but you can try it first for free. |
